Element Fresh in Beijing

When working in Shanghai, I designed a few spaces for a western food restaurant chain called Element Fresh. Check it out on www.elementfresh.com. They are growing and expanding in China. A couple of months before I left Shanghai, I was asked to do the Interior Design for three spaces up north in Beijing, which I put a lot of effort and time in it, but unfortunately, did not get to follow up on the construction. But hey, look! One of the Beijing restaurants is now open!

 

It is amazing every single time to see my design built, once it is there, all the overtime, nightshifts and frustration is forgotten, and with this restaurant, nothing major has changed since the first design. 

 

So if you guys go up to Beijing (I know you are all dying to go there), you know where to eat western food!

As for the furniture… I never liked their bar stools –  but they already had them and did not want to change them to something cooler….but the regular chairs turned out quite nicely.
